Little Lines is developed and published by Brogrammer LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Little Lines app ("App") on iPhone or iPad.
If you have questions, contact us at privacy@littlelines.xyz.
We collect two categories of information:
a) Information You Provide Locally
The App lets you enter a display name and set preferences (hint mode, content mode, etc.). This information is stored only on your device using iOS UserDefaults and the iOS Keychain. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
b) Analytics Data (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase ("Firebase Analytics"), a service provided by Google LLC. Firebase Analytics collects usage data to help us understand how players interact with the App. This includes:
Firebase Analytics does not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or precise location.
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will ask for your permission before allowing Firebase Analytics to use Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking. If you decline, analytics will still function using anonymous identifiers only.
We use the data described above solely to:
We do not use your information to serve advertising, build advertising profiles, or sell data to any third party.
Firebase Analytics is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by Google's data processing terms.
Data collected by Firebase Analytics may be transferred to and stored on Google's servers in the United States or other countries. Google applies appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
You can learn more about how Google handles data and your opt-out options here:
To opt out of analytics within the App, deny tracking permission when prompted at first launch, or go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking for Little Lines at any time.
Little Lines is rated 4+ on the App Store and is designed to be safe for all ages. The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any user, including children under 13.
All gameplay data stored on-device (display name, scores, preferences) is local only and never transmitted. Analytics data collected by Firebase is aggregated, anonymous, and contains no personally identifiable information.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us at privacy@littlelines.xyz and we will promptly delete it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
On-device data (name, stats, preferences) is retained until you delete the App or use the in-app reset function in the Stats screen.
Firebase Analytics event data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted from Google's servers.
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete.
To opt out of anonymous analytics entirely, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking for Little Lines. You can also delete all on-device game data at any time from the Stats screen inside the App.
Sensitive local data (such as the parental PIN) is stored in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. We follow Apple's recommended security practices for on-device data storage.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. However, because personal information is never transmitted by the App, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information is minimal.
The App does not contain links to external websites or third-party services beyond the analytics providers described above. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites you may navigate to independently.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice within the App or through the App Store update notes.
Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
